The Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is one of the top-rated airports in the world, renowned for its infrastructure, efficiency and capability in handling large numbers of cargo and passengers. The two-runway airport has reached its full capacity and is due for an upgrade.
In partnership with HKIA, we produced two series of explainers, with each consisting of three videos, to talk about some of the solutions to combat this challenge.

The first series provides a technical aviation overview and debunks some common urban myths about flying. We used bold elements matching with soothing colors in the videos to visually explain some of the seemingly abstract concepts, so the audience could gain a better understanding of aeronautics and safety.
The second series explains the smart upgrades HKIA would install, to enable an even more elevated experience for the travellers coming to the airport. We used the boldness of red and blue to make this series attractive to watch.
The two series were designed to provide important information for the general public; while they must contain a certain degree of seriousness, we made sure the content is interesting and fun to watch.
