HKIA Central Concourse Digital Display

The unlimited possibilities of digital content is that it can instantly create a different nuance within a space for people to experience. In contrast to the usual hustle and bustle of the HKIA, we wanted to bring on a scene where travellers could take the time to slow down and freshen up before carrying on their journeys.

It is known that exposure to nature helps to calm your emotions, reduce heart rate and muscle tension. We designed scenes of rainforests, waterfalls and underwater using 3D motion graphics to introduce a sense of tranquility to a fully constructed and busy space. We also created fun looping videos of food to bring a different vibe to the space.

The videos displayed on 6m tall panels at the Central Concourse food court at the airport change from time to time, not only able to provide an interesting art piece for the interior but also helping the visitors to revitalise visually as they dine.
