DigiCon6 Asia Awards is organised by TBS Japan and has been running since 1998. Often referred to as the “Oscars” of the animation industry, the annual prestigious Award is a competition that aspires animation and storytelling creatives in Asia to show their prowess, a platform that celebrates talents all around Asia and gathers animation aficionados in the region.
We are thrilled to be the official Creative Partner third time in a row, and further enhanced and globalocalised the brand integrity of the Hong Kong branch, by bringing on refreshing bright colours to the brand that is quickly recognizable but also fun and welcoming.
We created a set of three characters, “Sea”, “Land” and “Air” to represent different creatives joining in the fun using different ways and methods.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continued in the city, we had to be agile with our planning and executions, especially when there were serious delays with logistics and deliveries, which slightly affected some of our preparations.
While we designed the full branding stack, we needed to adapted to cater both online and offline, which included the Award trophies, merit certificates, onsite backdrop, photo props, lectern and stationery; digital backdrops, elements for the official website, online promotional materials for social media, eDMs and GDNs, and e-programme.
We produced an online version of the Award and screening ceremony and the event highlight video to ensure a holistic approach to the brand consistency of the entire event.
